A work in progress, worth watching

The vines are part of an ongoing restoration of one of the oldest winery properties in St. James. Guests can see that progress from the decks, patios, suites, and RV spaces.

Christmas Tree Farm

Thousands of trees and growing

Prairie Barn reported more than 3,000 trees planted in 2024, with another 700 ordered for spring 2025. The farm includes Scotch Pine, White Pine, and Norway Spruce—each bringing a different shape, texture, and holiday character.
